Storms... TwT

Happy Lunar New Years! Late but better than never! So about something that happened a couple of days before New Year’s that’s caused much grief. Ultimately resulting in me migrating from my room to the room with the ps3 which I’m not complaing about now, but still to be booted out of your of room is a little... Well anyway other people who live in Melbourne “should” know what I’m talking about. The storm that hit not too long ago and what it did to my living quarters...

I recently developed, what I thought was a good habit... of opening the window when I left my room in the summer. This was because! My room is located on side of the house that the sunset hits which means that if I don’t open up my room and leave it shut all day, when I enter my room at the end of the day the room becomes a lot like the average family car that gets left in the parking lot of a shopping centre on a hot summer day, just without a dead forgotten baby in the backseat.

But apparently that’s not the best thing to do considering a storm hit while I was out getting a lamp shade for my dog (cute little v@g!n@ licking/biting bitch). TwT the rain practically soaked more than 50% of my room, unfortunately I don’t have a photo of because I did the normal thing someone should do which is salvage what I could and attempt to dry up the damn place... There were some major casualties...

(Lots of “heavy rain” caused this... (I want that game...) My laptop wouldn’t turn on for a while too... I hate the rain...)

It would have been fine if it was normal rain but this was a storm and because I live out in a hole, there’s clay and other smelly crap that mixed with the horizontally falling rain which made my room smell like a rat’s ass so it was kinda stupid to spend the night in there... the water that I was draining out of the carpet was brown too... TwT

To fix things I took a walk down the cleaning isle of coles and there is so much variety and in my confusing I grabbed 3 different products, a foaming carpet cleaner that doesn’t need scrubbing, air refreshing slash mould prevention spray, and this weird powder that you sprinkle on the carpet and vacuum up. The first thing I tried was the foaming carpet cleaner. I mean who could resist the mental image of shaving foam all over the floor and the awesome irrelevant picture of a teddy bear on the product?

(The cleaning team, Awesome designs...)

It breathed a new life into my carpet! But it still smelled like crap... but the carpet’s so springy and fresh! I can’t believe I used the whole can!

(I was so tempted to walk in this you can’t understand...)

I still haven’t used the powder that you sprinkle yet things are smelling ok but i’m still sleeping outside just because I don’t trust my room yet. I’m salvaging the picture that was sketched and got wet but I don’t have any intention of finishing it till I get moved back into my room which I should do soon to get back into drawing if I wanna get better... =w=”

On a side note mum has burned food 3 times since the new years has started, p.b and myself are convinced that it means burnt food for the rest of the year here is just one. Prawns left on the stove for the whole day.

I could write a mass complaint letter too! But i would end up sending it to myself and that kinda defeats the purpose... =w=

As long as the water didn't hit the shoe rack, that's all that really matters now doesn't it? =P

You poor child... good thing Blueberry is all good... and your room looks great now... I'm so glad my window wasn't opened.

Imagine coming back to a carpet full of mold.
